At Tapton we strive to make the transition process as smooth as possible for families.
Activities take place throughout the year to support students as they manage the change from primary to secondary.
This begins with our Open Evening where we welcome the families of all Year 6 students to visit Tapton and sample all that we have to offer. Our next open evening will take place on Wednesday 30th September 2026 - keep checking our website for more details.
Following this, we communicate with families once they have been notified by the local authority that their child has received a place at Tapton.
