Tapton School & Sixth Form is an ambitious and inclusive 11-18 comprehensive school serving around 1,750 students, including a thriving Sixth Form of over 450. Situated in the south-west of Sheffield, close to the Peak District National Park, we are proud to be a diverse and vibrant community where every young person is known, valued and supported to succeed.
Our vision is built around three core principles: Community, Character and Curiosity. We believe that students achieve their very best when they are part of a school community that combines high challenge with high support, where expectations are ambitious, relationships are strong and every individual feels a genuine sense of belonging.
